The Oxfordshire pilot league is live — expanding across the South East

The UK drone economy is in desperate need of qualified pilots, engineers, and technicians, and nobody is building that pipeline for young people. These careers can break cycles of generational poverty.
A structured, team-based programme delivered over 18 sessions across 20 weeks, culminating in a competitive tournament and community celebration event.
The pilot league launches in Oxfordshire, with clear plans to expand across South East England. Participants train weekly in piloting, strategy, teamwork, and match play, experiencing Drone Football as a real sport with rules, fixtures, and fair play.
The league builds confidence, leadership, and technical skills — every player has a route to keep going, on the pitch and into industry.
Drone Football is designed so young people of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences can take part and succeed. Bursaries mean no one is excluded on financial grounds. Every session is adapted for SEND and disabled participants, run by trained, safety-briefed facilitators in a sealed inflatable arena.

KS2–KS4, including SEND. Learners engaged through play, teamwork, and hands-on technology.
Post-16 and university students building technical, leadership, and employability skills as coaches, mentors, and referees.
